I read a one star review from someone on this site who said that Lake arrowhead is very conservative & the people were not very friendly. In conclusion, I believe that my town of Yucca Valley is the perfect balance of beauty, tranquility, and activeness. This could include the additions of shopping complexes, updates in the community's parks, or the development of places such as arcades. I would like there to be more fun places to go with friends and family in your free time without having to drive to the nearby cities. The only thing I would change about this beautiful town is the amount of recreational activities available. From the beautiful desert landscape riddled with Joshua Trees to the gorgeous sunsets and clarity of the stars in the sky at night, there is truly nowhere like Yucca Valley. It is never overwhelming nor so small that you feel restrained and bored. It has a population of about twenty-one thousand six hundred and twenty-two residents making it the perfect balance of calmness and activity. There are certain areas where the homeless people congregate & it's unfortunate that they are in that position. One thing that I would change about Upland is the homeless population. There are plenty of parks to visit as well. You can even ride your bike or walk along the Pacific Electric Trail right through Downtown! There's also the Euclid Avenue Walk Trail, which is about 6 miles with picturesque views of Mt. Events such as art walks, movie nights, farmers markets, and skate nights. Downtown Upland has a very family friendly vibe, with many events put on by the local shops. ![]() I love living in Upland!
